Weiguo Su, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Drug Discovery Hutchison MediPharma
Dr. Su joined Hutchison MediPharma in 2005, prior to which he spent fifteen years in Pfizer's US R&D organisation. Dr. Su delivered several high quality new drug candidates during his time with Pfizer with his last role being a director in the Medicinal Chemistry Department. He received his Ph.D. and post-doctoral fellowship in Chemistry from Harvard University under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Professor E. J. Corey and his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Fudan University in Shanghai, China.

Jimmy Wei, Ph.D., MBA
Senior Vice President, Business Development and Corporate Planning, Hutchison MediPharma
Dr. Wei has over ten years of experience in the life sciences industry, in the areas of R&D, investment and business development. Dr. Wei is Vice President and head of the business development at Hutchison MediPharma. Previously, Dr. Wei was the Deputy General Manager of Burrill China Group, where he led Burrill’s business activities related to Greater China Area. Burrill is one of the largest life sciences VC fund with close to $1bln under management. Prior to joining Burrill, Dr. Wei worked for WI Harper Group (WIH) and oversaw its global life sciences investment. Before WIH, Dr. Wei was a management consultant at McKinsey Shanghai office. Dr. Wei has also conducted R&D in several leading research organizations, including Duke University Medical Center and Chinese Academia of Sciences. Dr. Wei has obtained a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from North Carolina State University. He also holds an M.B.A. from Darden Business School, University of Virginia.

Xun Zhang, Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Non-Clinical Development and Project Operations, Hutchison MediPharma
Dr. Zhang joined Hutchison MediPharma in 2005, prior to which he spent eleven years in Pfizer's US R&D organisation where he was a director in the Pharmaceutical Sciences Division and, before that, four years at the Bristol-Myers-Squibb Research Institute. Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and his Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Peking University, China.

Hua Mu, M.D., Ph.D.
Senior Vice President, Clinical Research & Development
Dr.Mu joined Hutchison MediPharma in 2010. He has over 14 years of clinical research and development experience focusing on oncology, having held senior medical and clinical leadership roles with some of the most prestigious global phamaceutical and biotech companies such as Roche, Biogen Idec and most recently, Genentech. His industrial experience spans over phase development, and medical affair with cytotoxic agents, small molecules, and monoclonal antibodies for solid tumors and hematologic malignancies. He was involved in the development of a number of successful oncology drugs including Xeloda ®, Abraxane ® and Avastin ®. With significant operating and team leadership experience from organizations with diverse cultures and operating environments, Dr.Mu is well versed in managing complex cross-functional teams, dealing with the US FDA and regulatory authorities in Europe and Asia, and successfully bringing drug candidates through the development process to market.
Dr.Mu received his medical degree from West China University of Medical Sciences and his Ph.D. in Epidemiology from the University of Califomia at Berkeley. Earlier in his career, Dr.Mu was a Senior Fellow at the Schools of Medicine of the University of Washington and the University of Califormia at San Francisco, where he conducted translational research on breast cancer and autoimmune diseases. He also spent nearly two years at Procter & Gambles' s Kobe Technical Centre, where he was responsible for clinical research and human safety programs in Asia Pacific.

Zhenping Wu, Ph.D. MBA
Vice President, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Hutchison MediPharma
Dr. Wu joined Hutchison MediPharma in 2008 with 17 years of experience in drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. His past positions include Senior Director of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Phenomix Corporation, a California based drug discovery and development company, Director of Pharmaceutical Development at Pfizer Global Research & Development in San Diego, California (formerly Agouron Pharmaceuticals), and Senior Scientist at Roche Palo Alto site. Dr. Wu led many development project teams and advanced numerous drug candidates into different phases of clinical development and commercialization. The candidates include Sutent, a new blockbuster anti-cancer drug for Pfizer.
Dr. Wu received a Ph. D. degree from Hong Kong University, and an MBA degree from the University of California at Irvine. He is a past Chairman and President of the Board of Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Association. He received a Colleague Recognition Award from Pfizer in 2003 for his work on the Sutent project, a Dean's Scholar Award from the University of California at Irvine in the same year, and a Leadership Award from the Sino-American Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Association in 2008. Dr. Wu was the recipient of an American Heart Association Fellowship in 1990.

Mark Lee, MBA
Vice President, Corporate Finance and Development
Mr. Lee joined Hutchison MediPharma in 2009, prior to which he had been working in healthcare investment banking in the United States and Europe since 1998. Mr. Lee was a Vice President at Credit Suisse, a multinational financial services company with an extensive global healthcare practice. Based in the New York and London offices of Credit Suisse, Mr. Lee was involved in the execution and origination of mergers, acquisitions, public and private financings, and corporate strategy for life science companies such as AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Genzyme and Nanosphere, amongst others. Mr. Lee also spent time with the Business Development department of Bristol-Myers Squibb, focused on in-licensing.
Mr. Lee received his Bachelor of Engineering in Biochemical Engineering with First Class Honours from University College London, where he was awarded a Dean's Commendation. He also received a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan School of Management.

May Wang, Ph.D.
Vice President, Clinical Research & Strategic Alliances
Prior to joining Hutchison MediPharma in 2010, Dr. Wang was a director and senior research advisor at Eli Lily and Company. She has over fifteen years of drug discovery and development experience and was recognized for her contribution to the discovery of several drug cndidates for the treatment of infectious diseases, cancer and inflammatory disorders, including the HCV protease inhibitor Telapravir, currently in Phase ||| trials. Dr. Wang published more than fifty peer-reviewed papers and was credited as a co-inventor of numerous patents. Dr Wang obtained her Ph.D. from Purdue University, USA.
